I was actually standing in the water holding my dslr close to the waves to take this. From my trip in croatia.

this seems like a nice picture, makes one a bit dizzy because of the angle of the horizon though..

you should see the next one i'm gonna submit. it literally moves in front of your eyes. please check back like tomorrow to see it. (i have to use a different os to edit it and i've still got work to do on this one...

heeeey :) long time no see :)

i'm glad you like it, it was one evening when i'd plan to shoot the sunset but calculated it by my watch which was set to gmt +2 and naturally the sun was CET. so when i realised the sun was setting a lot faster than i'd presumed i grabbed my gear and started runnin towards the end of the island (quite a good sprint i might add...). i did get it, and for this shot, which was after it'd set i went in the water went very wide, then used my hand under the camera to detect the waves before they hit the camera because i seriously doubt it likes water :D

oh, it was fun. i took it in novalja, which is on the island of pag, a bit north of zadar.

Hey I was there about 2 months ago. But the weather was awful so I didnt get a chance to shoot
some pics. Corageous act of yours to go in the water:P Was it cold?

so and so... the weather was great, just a bit of rain like just after we got there but then it got super :)

it was a bit cold, but not unbearable. plus, i had greater concerns :-S

well i actually meant as in my lens getting unusable... water and high-tech electronics don't really mix well... so i had to really be careful while i held it at barely an inch above the water...

and i thank you very very much for your kind overstatement :) it's the support i get around here, especially you and nate, and i must thank you for that. you motivate me :)

but then again if i'd be all candy coated and smiling large, i'd be just like the rest of the boring people around here wouldn't i :P
